Sales Engineer

Duties:
- Identify new technology trends and business opportunities
- Determine customers' technical requirements for R&D and production systems
- Coordinate with headquarters' R&D scientists and engineers to propose solutions to customers' technical requirements
- Manage existing customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Meet Sales Targets
- Participate in technical conferences and trade shows

Product Portfolio: Ion Beam and Plasma Products, including
- Coating equipment (PECVD, IBD)
- Etching and Milling equipment (IBE, CAIBE, RIBE)
- Finishing and Trimming equipment (IBF, IBT)
- Lithography equipment

Industries:
- Optics, Optoelectronics, Astro-Optics, MEMS, Microelectronics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or Materials Science
- Experience in sales
- Understanding of vacuum process equipment based on ion beams and plasma, incl:
   Coating equipment (PVD, IBD, PECVD)
   Etching and Milling equipment (IBE, CAIBE, RIBE)
- Understanding of Lithography equipment and processes
- Dedication to customer satisfaction and success
- Commitment to achieving sales goals.
- Willingness to travel 30 – 40%

 
AARD Technology is the exclusive representative for scia Systems GmbH in North America.  scia designs and builds advanced ion beam and plasma based process equipment for the production of microelectronics, MEMS, and precision optical components.   Their products include: ion beam trimming, etching and milling systems (incl reactive etching); ion beam deposition systems; magnetron sputtering systems; plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition; and fully customized equipment.
