Analytical Lab Technician

Analytical Lab Technician @ IBC Advanced Technologies

Full-time summer position (may transition to part-time during the semester)  lab technician position available: approximately 40 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30) year-round. IBC is willing to work around class schedules during the fall and spring/winter semesters. Job  will be available May 2025.

Applicant required to have at least college freshman level chemistry course work completed.

Work primarily involves performing aqueous-based metal ion separations and their subsequent analysis. Use of ICP, ICP-MS, and other analytical instruments is part of the work. Prior knowledge of and experience with these instruments is a plus but not a requirement for the applicant.

Experience gained is a plus for both bachelor’s degree employment, resumes, graduate school applications, and other hands-on scientific knowledge and career growth
